Plastique

Plastique (no longer active)

Plastique as the name for the collaboration between Brian & Neil Merton and Paul Wilson. This was the first serious attempt to convert the dynamic sound of H.C.K. into a band context. Paul Wilson joined the brothers in 1995 and Plastique was formed.

The band used material from the H.C.K. library as well as creating some new songs that matched the group’s unique sound.

Plastique came to an end when Neil went back to South Africa at the end of 1995. In that time they performed one very successful gig and also did some home recording. Some of the home recording can be listened to below.
